All of our items are 100% authentic - there will never be dubious or counterfeit items in our store.
Our team has a combined 25 years in the luxury and luxury secondhand industry and brings that expertise and knowledge to ensure the pieces you have are of the utmost quality and integrity. Over many years of seeing and handling fake items and being able to discern between spurious and genuine is an art and one that comes with experience. We also use Entrupy to validate our most expensive items, a system that is world renowned for authentication of luxury goods.
Purchases & Shipping
Always begin by checking our website. Occasionally, items featured on Instagram are newly listed and may sell before appearing online. If you spot something of interest on Instagram, please send us a direct message.
Absolutely! Send us an email at neualtluxconsignment@gmail.com and we'll build a customer profile for you in our inventory system with your wish list items. As the items become available our system will flag to us that a piece in your wish list is available.

As of right now (May 2024) we do not currently offer a program for layaway/deferred payment however it is coming. Please subscribe to our newsletter for details of upcoming improvements to our shop.
Parcels less than 2kg will be $9.99 flat rate within Canada. Parcels over 2kg will be $19.99 flat rate within Canada.

Neu/Alt does not provide insurance coverage for packages. To purchase insurance, please inquire with us directly. Given the value and uniqueness of each item, we highly recommend securing insurance.
Disclaimer: Neu/Alt will not be responsible for any items that are shipping without insurance. Once the item leaves our care we give it a kiss goodbye and wish it well on its journey.
Tracking will be provided to you via email once your order has been dispatched.
Neu/Alt is not responsible for any duties and taxes incurred on shipped items. For more information, please contact your local customs office. In many cases the method of shipment Fedex vs UPC vs National Carrier (USPS, Canada Post) will determine the duty. We are happy to advise prior to purchase if you have any questions.

Vintage luxury clothing is like a fine wine or a stock, the value can fluctuate over time. The suggested selling price is determined by the item's condition, current resale market value and desireability, and retail value. Given the uniqueness of each item, our team will review each piece with you to discuss further details. We also check to see what other marketplaces and vendors are selling the item for to validate our valuations.
This is an option that we are going to be offering in the future however as of June 2024 we do not offer full buyout on products. Rest assured dear friends we are working towards that. Subscribe to our newsletter for exciting updates to the business.
Transparency and communication is the key to any successful relationship. Once you consign with us you will receive a login/password for our consignor portal that will give you access to view the status of your inventory (items consigned and their prices, when they were consigned, any credits available). We want you to be as informed as possible to ensure satisfaction.
Absolutely. Please fill out the form on the Consign & Sell page to get the process started and we will be in contact with you regarding our interest and a time that works. We offer cleanouts for both mens and womenswear. To be clear the cleanout is us taking consignments, not doing laundry and organizing your closet. We'll leave that to Marie Kondo.
We lead busy lives and strive to turnaround goods as quickly as possible. Our current lead time is within 7 days as we have to photograph, measure and write romantic copy for your items that will make future customers swoon with desire.
Short answer is no, we will contact you ahead of time to work on a strategy. We do our best to sell the goods but sometimes the market softens for a particular piece. That doesn't mean the item is any less beautiful or valuable.
